Video Brochure European Comformity
All the products we produce at HDC New Media contain only the highest quality parts and components, which directly correspond with all current European Conformity regulations.
A product which this is specifically applicable to is the video brochure, as it contains an active power source in the form of lithium ion battery. At no time should you attempt to dismantle or damage a product containing rechargeable batteries, this can lead to hazardous chemical leaks and is a possible fire hazard. Dismantling or damaging a product in any way voids any warranties or indemnities offered by HDC.
We only source these particular batteries from suppliers which have certification in place to show that the products are produced in line with all current European Confirmation regulations, such as The Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive and The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive.
In order to show that HDC New Media complies with such regulations and directives we place the associated, representative logos of the directives on all our video brochure products. We also include a link to this webpage so that the end user of the product is able to easily find out supporting information in regards to these directives.
Recycle your Video Brochure
At HDC New Media we love the environment and understand the importance of recycling as much as we can.
You may have noticed, in your local supermarkets and retail stores that collection points are made available for the recycling of batteries. This is because batteries contain different types of metals as well as other materials which can be recycled and reused.
Our Video Brochures are no different as they contain lithium ion batteries, which contain cobalt and steel.
In line with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive you should ensure that these are recycled so they can be used to make further products. In doing so you are helping to reduce your own, the product and your businesses carbon footprint.
